These are all Green Mountain Boys. My G-G-G-G Grandfather Col. Philip Stow of Bridport, VT was one of these also. These names are very familiar to me and to anyone who lives there. They are all written about and friends of mine have done their Skinner genealogy. I would suggest contacting the ... Vermont Historical Society, Montpelier, VT and if they don't have all she wants they can put her in touch with whomever does have it.

Can anyone help me find the father of PERRY ZUINLESS SKINNER, b. in Essex Co., NY July 27, 1820. Died Eaton Co., MI April 21, 1895. Married Betsey Maxson August 14, 1840 In Jackson, MI. Ordained as minister in Free Will Baptist Church in 1841. Moved to Eaton Co. 1842. Preached 40 years at what is now called Needmore Community Church. $100.00 reward for the documentation of his father.

Eleanor Riker SKINNER b 20 April 1827 Cayuga Co., NY d 3 Jan 1883 Clarence Twp., Eaton Co., MI m Otis Warren PHILLIPS. Eleanor's parents were Richard SKINNER b. c1783 NJ and Catherine (BENSON or RIKER) b 14 Nov 1787 NJ d 12 Sep 1865 Clarence Twp., Eaton Co., MI. Richard and Catherine had 15 children of them were Otis, James, Catherine, Eliza, Elmira, Gary, Amos, William, Ellin, John, and Eleanor Riker. Richard and Catherine lived in Victory, Cayuga Co., NY and Richard died there between 1861 and 1865. Need names and dates of other children and parents of both Richard and Catherine.
