QUERIES

SKINNER / WARNER / BAKER / ALLEN

I would like information that would link Seth Warner, Remember Baker and Ethan Allen to the Skinner line.

I know they were cousins and my great-grandfather said there was a connection. Whether it would be through Ruth Warner that married our Timothy Skinner (6), Timothy (5), Ezra (4), John (3), Thomas (2,1), I don't know.

SKINNER / REID / BULLEN

Does anyone have information on Samuel Skinner who married the widow, Catherine Reid, nee Bullen, in Charleston, SC in 1758. Or on The Soldier of the King, Samuel Skinner, who with his wife Catherine, had a son Joseph christened in 1759 in York, PA.

SKINNER / FOREST / BLISH

I have come across two conflicts in Skinner lineage:

1. Mary Skinner (5) Solomon (4) Thomas (3)(2)(1) (from p. 51 in Fernald's book) or Mary Skinner (5) John (4)(3) Thomas (2)(1) (from p. 59 in Fernald's book)

Both say Mary m. Samuel Forest. Does anyone know which Mary it should be?

2. Phebe Skinner (6) Abraham (5)(4) (3) Thomas (2)(1). She b. 1753, m. Benjamin Blish, b. 11 Feb 1753 in Tolland Co., CT (from p. 104 in Fernald's book) Phebe Skinner (5) Abraham (4)(3) Thomas (2)(1) She b. 5 Dec 1727, m. Benjamin Blish, b. 11 Feb 1723, in Colchester, CT. (from p. 53 in Fernald's book) (p.55 says Abraham (4) left 10 s. to dau. Blish in his will.)

Were there two Benjamin Blish's or is it an error?

I have a sister-in

SKINNER / THOMPSON

My g-grandparents, Henry Thompson and Lucinda (Skinner) Thompson, are on the 1880 census, .Sardis, Monroe Co., OH. Lucinda was born ca 1855 in VA. Both her parents (names unknown) were born in OH. I can't find Lucinda Skinner on the Monroe Co. census in previous years so perhaps Henry married her somewhere else and brought her to his hometown of Sardis. I'm hoping someone has found Lucinda Skinner on an 1860 or 1870 census.
