SKINNER ETHNICS

In the last issue of SKU I mentioned the "Ethnic Skinners;" the Black line from Barbados (incidently, I incorrectly mentioned that as being Barbados, NY., it is, in fact from the island of Barbados. Thanks to Eunice Skinner for the clarification) and the Cherokee Indian Skinners (Sande wanted me to be sure to mention that the original article was from page 546 of "The Source").

We also have:

Polish Skinners, originally spelled

SKRZYNIARZ

(from a Chicago obituary sent in by Sande Skinner);

and

Italian Skinners, originally spelled

SCHENA.

If anyone is aware of other Skinner lines with their origins in other nationalities, please send them in.
