Since Clara Skinner was the last person to keep up this scrapbook, It does not contain her obituary. Clara Davis died on February 10, 1949. Her obituary appeared in the Telephone Register for February 17, 1949:

FUNERAL RITES READ MONDAY

Mrs. Clara Jane Davis, 89, late of McMinnville, passed away on February 10, and funeral services were held from the McMinnville Funeral Home on Monday, February 14. Internment was in South Yamhill Cemetery.

A resident of McMinnville for the past 35 years, Mrs. Davis was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Oren B. Skinner. She was married to Levi T. Davis, since deceased.

Survivors include two step daughters, Mrs. Lois Cummins and Mrs. Naomi Simonson, both of McMinnville.
