Heard a Gordon Lightfoot song "Summer Dream" and one of the lines was, "...down by Bill Skinner's stream..."

-Sande Skinner

I enjoyed the article about Skinner Satin. One of my favorite jackets is lined with Skinner Satin. It is getting rather old but I am unwilling to give it up just yet. It is a suede jacket I purchased in Orlando, FL in 1962.

About Skinner Macaroni. ..I was having dinner with my wife on the occasion of our 15th wedding anniversary at the Pier 66 Restaurant in Fort Lauderdale, FL in 1967. The orchestra leader announced the next number was at the request of Mr. Skinner. My wife was pleased but of course I knew better. When I noticed the people at the adjacent table reacting I introduced myself and discovered this to be James Skinner, President of Skinner's Foods. We had quite an enjoyable visit and laugh at the coincidence.
