grandson, Abraham SKINNER, deeded to him a 60 acre lot on Prospect Hill,
which Abraham SKINNER of Colchester, deeded May 20, 1724 to Samuel
EDDY of Watertown.
1726 Mar 10: Abraham SKINNER of Hebron, Conn., bought 11 1/2 acres,
bounded South, by Colchester; North by Eston; West by David DICKINSON,
and another piece of 18 acres. Witnesses, John WADDAMS, David
DICKINSON
1733 Jan 3: 21 acres, 96 rods of land laid out to Abraham SKINNER,
called 5 miles, being a grant made to David DICKINSON by the inhabitants
of Glastenbury, Dec 23, 1723.
1733 Jan 14: Abraham SKINNER for �50 deeds 30 acres to the Governor

1736 May 15: The original petition to the General Association for
permission to hire an orthodox minister to preach the word of God in
what is now Marlborough was signed by the inhabitants of the towns of
Colchester, Hebron, and Glastenbuty. One of the signers was Abraham
SKINNER.
1736 Sep 30: Abraham SKINNER, of Glastenbury, buys from David
DICKINSON for �16, 2 acres called 40 acre lot bounded West by John
WADDAMS, East by his own land, North by Highway, South by Glastenbury
South Line.
1742 Feb 7: Abraham SKINNER received from the Governor and Company
30 acres, consideration �50.
1745 Oct 25: Abraham SKINNER and others signed a petition for a
parish.
1748 Mar: Lands in the mile of Commons laid out to Abraham SKINNER,

1773 May 31: Abraham SKINNER deeded to Stepehn SHIPMAN, land where

PHELPS �8-10s in addition to what she has had. Residue to my son
