Lists occupation as carpenter. He was 54 years old in 1880 and born in New York. Tombstone inscription at Oakwood Cemetery--location in block 21 lot 50. Barrows Collection shows two additional children born to Paddock and Mary: Lora M. Barrows, born 14 Mar 1861 in New Hope, Iowa and Amasa L. Barrows born 9 Aug 1852.
