!Thomas, Augustus O, II (01/03) corresp (03.0122.01) Salmon Skinner, born 11 Sep 1790 in Bolton, Tolland Co., CT, son of John Skinner, Jr and Catherine Morrison. John was born 27 Jan 1761 and died 09 Nov 1801 at Stillwater, Saratoga Co., New York. John was Lt. and Capt. in the Revolutionary War in Connecticut. Salmon was in the War of 1812 in Connecticut. He moved to Summit County, Ohio about 1817/8. Salmon married 2nd Caroline Waldo Dunbar (widow) in 1828 in Medina, Ohio.
