! Holcombe, LG. Descendants of Richard Alexander Skinner of
Loudon County, Virginia. p 5, 6. There were four children named in a
separate maintenance action filed by Mary Skinner Oden, recorded as
Oden vs Oden, pending in Loudoun co, courts between the years 1801 and
1807. We have the names of but two Nathaniel Skinner Oden and Frances
Skinner Brooks. She was b 1800; m prior to 1822 to ----- Brooks. Mary
Skinner Oden and her children were forced to live with her father during
the period of the separate maintenance action. The courts allowed her
$24.00 per year maintenance.
