396 Terhune Ave, Passaic, NJ 07055: Of particular interest at the
moment is the son of Thomas H. SKINNER by his first marriage (to
Juliette PIERSON), Charles P. SKINNER. Charles P. was born 1838/9 in
Deerpark, Orange County, New York. According to an entry in the old
family Bible he was ³mortally wounded, June 18th, 1864². This is at the
same time as the first seige of Petersburg, VA by Union troops. However,
correspondence with the National Archives, and research in the Muster
Rolls have provided no clues as to Charles P.ıs service reocrd, death in
action, or unit.
