my file. Most of her children were born in OH. In 1875 she and her
husband moved to Lincoln County, KS and cared for Thomas' twins
following his wife's death. They then moved to Des Moines where they
remained the rest of their lives. (Doc. Letter by Calvin Darius a twin and
a great "Record of Family" by Nora Skinner Morton a twin.)

PO Box 380, Big Flats, NY 14814-0380: m Gallia co, OH: Samantha and
William (in the mid 1870šs) lived for four years in Lincoln co, KS and
cared for the twins Nora and Darius Calvin after Mary Maria Bing Skinner
died. Burial information from records of Woodland Cemetery. Other
information corroborated by U.S. Census information. She was a member
of the Prospect Park Methodist Episcopal Church and according to her
obituary her services were held at home by the Rev. Dr. Holmes. From her
obit in the Iowa State Register April 14, 1893 she died at 5:45 P.M. at
her residence 1224 Wylie St. and was 67 years old. She was born Meigs
Co, Ohio married in Gallia County and moves shortly thereafter to Ross
County, Ohio where they lived until 1860 with the exception of the four
years spent in KS. They came to Des Moines in 1869 and were here until
their deaths.
