SKINNER in Merrick CO., Nebraska. Perhaps you already have it, if not it can be found using the address below. http://www.ukans.edu/carrie/kancoll/andreas_ne/merrick/merrick-p2.h tml#bios I found it interesting because Quartus was a brother to Amy SKINNER. Amy was married to Coart HUTCHINGS, the brother of my great grandfather. Among their children were Henry, Nelson, Neuman, and Edward. All four brothers and Quartus, their uncle appears on the 1880 Federal census of Merrick County. In the short biography about Quartus, it is stated that he was born in Niagara Co. NY. That is where the Hutchings family came from before moving to Shiawassee County, MI. My great grandfather was married twice. His first wife is Percie Skinner according t the death certificate of one of their daughter. According to the 1850 Federal census of Shiawassee Co., MI, she was born in NY around 1820. I believe that Amy and (Percie, Percis, Percey) were sisters who married brothers in NY before moving to MI. [?ID=TM 2027?] Patrick TYRRELL
