I have a bit more detail to offer here. Huldah was born in April 1788 in New Milford, CT, the first of 6 children recorded there - Huldah 1788, Lorinda about 1790, Lunia about 1793, Polly about 1795, Sally born 25 Mar 1797, and Susanna about 1799. Huldah died 22 Aug 1874, but I have no proof it was in Bakersfield, VT. Huldahąs father was Agur Treadwell and his wife was Lydia -----. As I mentioned above, this family moved to Williamstown, MA from New Milford, CT, date unknown at present. It could have been that about 1810 when John Skinner was in Williamstown, MA he met and married Huldah and the went on to Bakersfield, VT to settle. We shall have to work that out further. Agur Treadwell was born in New Milford, CT 29 Mar 1766, the son of Hezekiah who married Mehitable Minor in 1730. Hezekiahąs father was Thomas Treadwell.
