! E88.0712.01 SKU 5(3):57 Bible Records: This family came into Carroll co, GA from Coweta and Henry co, GA between 1850 and 1860. Some members of this family moved into Cleburne co, AL, and later groups went into Cullman co, AL, and Lawrence co, TN. Others went to Texas and elsewhere. This Bible is in the possession of Barbara (Skinner) Lockard of Ft. Worth, TX. It was located by the efforts of Helen (Skinner) Gonzales of Winnemucca, NV, and James E Skinner, both members of SFA. Note date of marriage differs from the Bible. Difference is November and September. Their eldest son states in his Confederate pension application he was born in Jackson co, GA. This family contributed at least five sons to the Confederate cause. Maybe more. Two died of disease during the war.
