! Keith, Dorothy GEDCOM (8/95) 625 S Orange Grove Bl #6, Pasadena, CA 91105 Daniel Griffin Pipkin was the son of Rev. Lewis Pipkin and Pheraby Beasley of Darlington Co., S. C. He m. Julia Ann Marks 4 Dec 1838. Their son, Edgar Malone Pipkin m. Ella Catherine Jewell, dau of a Meth Minister. Edgar Malone Pipkin was was a cousin to Ira Pipkin Beasley, son of John Beasley, Jr. and Suzanne (Ann) Pipkin . This must be the Edgar Malone Pipkin who corresponded with Ira Pipkin Beasley in 1905, shortly before Ira Pipkin Beasley died in that same year. Mrs. Lucie Price's works (Barker Lib., Univ of Texas) contains a letter written in 1905; Dr. Jerry Robbins of Atlanta, Ga. has a picture of Ira Pipkin Beasley with this written on the back:"To my cousin, Edgar Malone Pipkin."
