! Keith, Dorothy GEDCOM (8/95) 625 S Orange Grove Bl #6, Pasadena, CA 91105 Jehu Mixon 2nd, s. of Jehu and Fereby Belk, was b., Darlington Dist, SC about 1798; d. in Conecuh Co , Ala early 1883. He was m. in Darlington, SC about 1820 to Fereby Woodham, dau. of Aris and Rachel Woodham,- will by Rachel, 7 Sept 1858, leaving a bequest to dau, Fereby Mixon.Fereby, b. ca 1806; d. 1878, Conecuh, Ala First 3 ch of Jehu Mixon,2nd and Fereby Woodham b. in Darlington; others b. Conecuh,Ala.Jehu 11, settled in Conecuh in 1825, near his bro., Nathan.Both evidently had land grants by 6 Mar 1827. Mixson's Book "---I have placed Micha Mixon of Darlington SC, son of John Mixon,4th. James Morgan took charge of John Mixson 4th, at age 15, in 1734---" Comment by submitter: Micha Mixon lived next door to my Rev War Sold, Nathan Grantham, and in his( Micha's) will , 1805, gives Nathan Grantham his Saddle and other items of value. This Micha was b abt 1743 and was one of first to settle in Sparrow Swp, Darlington Dist, SC. John Beasley, Sr, also a neighbor, and another R W ancester of submitter, asked Micha Mixon to watch over his land grant of 1773.I interpret this to mean that my John Beasley had not moved his family from Craven Co., NC; only that he bought the land ---returned to fight in the Rev,---then meved to Darlington, SC after the war( about 1777\8).
